Custom Dentures

Custom Dentures are an excellent option for patients who have lost some or all of their natural teeth. These dentures are made to precisely fit the individual patient’s mouth and provide superior comfort and function.

The color and shape of the dentures can be matched to existing natural teeth, to provide ideal aesthetics. It is also encouraged to bring old photos into the office to show us the way your teeth once looked. The teeth may also be uniquely positioned to create a look you may have always wanted.

Our office offers both partial and complete dentures. Unlike complete dentures that replace all teeth, partial dentures use any existing, healthy teeth as anchors that the denture may “hook around.” This can aid in stability, retention, and locating food when chewing.

Dentures may also be implant supported, where the denture actually snaps into attachments that are supported by implants in bone. These types of dentures are called overdentures. The denture utilizes implants which exist underneath the denture and secure it in place. The attachments are not seen when the dentures are worn.

For those individuals who want or need a partial that is cosmetic appealing, showing no metal clasps, precision attachment partials can be made. These involve crowning one or more supporting teeth for the partial, with a specialized attachment made on the crown. There is also a special attachment made into the partial denture. The two attachments are made to snap in place together, creating a highly retentive denture, hiding any potential metal that may compromise aesthetics.
