Dental Implants

Implants replace the damaged roots of missing teeth. Primarily made of titanium, these artificial teeth are set below the gum line, work as anchors to help secure single tooth replacements or a set of replacement teeth.

After placement of an implant, a certain amount of time is set aside for bone to grow and solidify the implant into place. After completion of this event, the implant is uncovered and a post is screwed into it. Simply enough, a crown is then made to fit over the post, and treatment is complete.

Implant dentistry provides patients with replacement teeth that are both functionally and aesthetically pleasing. The new teeth are strong, durable, and are nearly indistinguishable from other teeth.

Patients can receive dental implant restorations for a single tooth or for multiple teeth. For those patients who have lost all of their teeth, we offer implant dentistry that will support, secure and retain a full set of dentures (overdentures). This is wear a denture actually snaps into attachments secured to implants, preventing movement and providing stability to a denture. Patients love this solution!
